Adi Cohen - Legacy Founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors

Adi Cohen is a former scholar at Tel Aviv University in the fields of English Literature and Classical History. In business, Cohen is an expert on high-risk securities and derivatives and has dealt extensively in venture capital investments since 1992.

Cohen takes an active role in several major stock markets around the world and engages in entertainment investments through financial packages and instruments for the film and television industry.

Cohen is also involved in seed investments of media and technology companies.

Cohen leads the philosophy and strategy of APX by expending its global network and designing the intended autonomy of its monetary structure.

Adi is a triathlon enthusiast, investing considerable time in intensive training. Cohen resides between New York City and Central Europe.

Andy Capper

COO and Head of North America Operations

Andy Capper's career in journalism and media started at age 17, reporting on local newspapers in the Northwest of England.

Capper helped start the UK division of Vice in 2001 and up until 2017, Capper was Senior Director / Producer / Editor at Vice Media LLC, creating award-winning documentary franchises such as Noisey, Rule Britannia and Weediquette among others. In 2014, he was awarded an Emmy Award for segments he produced for the Vice show on HBO.

After collaborating with artists like Snoop Dogg, Spike Jonze and Kendrick Lamar, he won a Real Screen Award for his Noisey TV series in 2017, the Tribeca Film Festival in 2013 for Lil Bub & Friendz and his film with Snoop Dogg, Reincarnated, had premieres at TIFF and SXSW.

Andy manages APX activity in North America while developing new segments within the division. In addition, Andy oversees the streamline throughout APX’s several global divisions.

Jordi Rediu

Legacy Founder and Head of Global Production

Jordi Rediu is a renowned and acclaimed producer, orbiting the film industry for over 30 years. He is the complete authority on physical production and European film and Television tax Credit Programs and heads APX’s Global Production Arm.

Rediu is the Founding partner of the Academy of Cinema of Catalonia. Member of the Spanish Film Academy. Secretary of PAC, the association of producers of Catalonia. Representative of the producers in the Federation of producers of Spain President of the Catalan Audiovisual Association of Independent Producers and Member of the Board of the Film Directors Association.

Rediu is completely fluent in Catalan, Spanish, French, English, Swedish, and basic Italian and German.
Jordi Rediu has produced more than 38 feature films, TV-films and documentaries and has been awarded 62 various prizes in selected film festivals around the globe. He also received over 135 Nominations.

Augusto Pelliccia

Legacy Founder, VP and Head of Italy Division

Augusto Pelliccia studied photo-cinematographic processing techniques at the family factory, and ever since has been the coordinator of the sector of slide production for educational and commercial use.

Augusto was one of founding designers and managers of the first Italian laboratory for the development and printing of color photos in one hour, and the administrator of the company Coca Color for the management of a mini-chain of six photo laboratories in Rome.

Augusto has put together one of the largest postproduction facilities in Europe and often collaborates with the Direction of the Pontifical Villas and Museums at the Vatican City State.

Augusto has been trusted with the assignment to design the database for the management of the photographic archive of the Vatican Museums and for the management of the images of the Philatelic Numismatic Office of the Vatican City.

Augusto is currently the CEO of Augustus Color Roma postproduction company, which is the only film development laboratory still existing in Italy. in addition, he has supervised the executive production of some important international projects in Hollywood and with major US streamers.

At APX, being one of the Legacy Founders, Augusto servs as an Executive Vice President and oversees the European production activity and expansion.

Fabio Pinci

Head of European Legal Department

Fabio Pinci is an esteemed Lawyer and litigator, qualified to practice before the Superior Courts in Italy and several other European countries. Fabio is a world expert in the fields of corporate law, banking and securities. He represents public and private companies before Judicial Offices throughout Europe in general and Italy in particular.

Pinci has overseen throughout his glorious career the most important disputes in banking and financial matters, precedent judgments of liabilities and international intellectual properties law. Fabio is also an expert on financial derivatives, structured bonds, online trading, securities and more.  

Fabio is the provincial secretariat of Rome for SNALS (autonomous union of school workers) and has developed a multidisciplinary expertise in tax law with representation before the Tax Commissions, both at provincial and regional level, as well as in administrative law. As of 2021, Mr. Pinci serves as the Certified Consultant at the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Dubai (Italian Industry & Commerce Office in the UAE)

Andrada Ilie

European Legal Department

Attorney Andrada Ilie has become a lawyer at a very young age. In 2018 she was the youngest lawyer in Italy and oversees a private practice in Rome and in Perugia.

Andrada specializes in Italian civil and criminal law and excels in commercial and cinema law. Andrada has acquired vast experience in complex and multinational media productions and co-productions between Europe and USA.

Andrada oversees APX’s Tax Credit Strategy in Europe in general and in Italy in particular and helps APX expend its reach by attracting media projects to Europe.

Nicholas Espinal

Head of Digital Assets Department

Nicholas Espinal consults institutional clients on fund-specific strategies to build and maintain wealth on-chain.

As a successful equity derivatives and cryptocurrency trader, Espinal draws upon game theory and systems thinking to demystify complex market mechanics. Doing so assisted in his time working at an industry leading consulting firm, handling one of the largest cryptocurrency brokerages during the time of employment.

Espinal, a poet and short story writer at heart, frequents the intersection of finance and philosophy, constantly seeking to actualize abstract theory into functional action.

Nicholas oversees APX’s digital strategy, particularly blockchain integration, to support APX’s global efforts to manage intellectual property, digital assets, foreign exchange, and acquisition synergy, among other operational initiatives.

Thomas Leong

Global Public Market Advisor

Thomas Leong advises clients on M&A, buy-out and private equity transactions in the media, film, and entertainment industries.

Over a career of over 30 years, Thomas has been actively involved in the production, packaging, financing, or distribution of over 100 motion picture projects, of which he has personally produced over 20, and has accumulated extensive experience in motion picture production, financing and distribution throughout China and Asia, as well as in the international markets, having started his career at ICM (International Creative Management) in London.

Born in London and raised in Switzerland and Germany, Thomas worked in China and Hong Kong from 1997 until 2019 where, amongst others, he advised CFCC (China Film Co-Production Corporation) on such acclaimed international co-productions such as CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON and SHANGHAI NOON, the first co-production between China and a major US Studio.

Richard Korhammer

Public Market Advisor

Richard Korhammer is a finance Director and Co-Head of FinTech Investment Banking.

Rich has spent his career as a senior executive and advisor, building and growing companies within the technology, banking, trading, market data, finance, and exchange sectors. Rich is Chairman of the Board of Directors for Yieldbroker, a Sydney Australia based debt and derivatives exchange since January 2012. He was the CEO, Co-founder and Chairman of Lava Trading, an equities and FX best execution trading and order management system platform that he successfully guided from its inception to its acquisition by Citigroup Inc. where he became a Managing Director, managing global electronic equities execution. 

Throughout his career, Rich has held leadership positions including Senior Advisor to Lightyear Capital, a private equity firm focusing on the financial sector, a senior investment banker at SenaHill Partners, and Chairman of The Receivables Exchange, an SMB and Fortune 500 receivables trading platform. Rich started his career as a systems engineer and in business development roles at NeXT Computers, founded by Steve Jobs and acquired by Apple. 

He holds a B.S.E. in computer science and electrical engineering from Princeton University.

John C. Hall

Special Advisor to the Board - International Marketing and Distribution

John C. Hall is a film, television, and theatrical producer as well as a published author. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of Distribution & Marketing at Universal Pictures. His tenure in entertainment has seen him working on the marketing and distribution campaigns for over 408 theatrical releases, including major franchise titles, Oscar® winners, and dozens of mega blockbusters. Hall serves on charity boards and as a jury member at various international film festivals. Hall is also an advisor to the executive team at Slated.com - the premier film finance and distribution platform for independent filmmakers.

Chris Smith

Financial Strategy Advisor

Chris has a huge breadth of experience across the television and media industry. He spent many years at Liberty Global in a number of roles investing in and developing cable tv, broadband and content businesses around the world. He has advised lots of small companies on strategy and development, including several in the production space.

Chris is also the CEO of Spring Films LTD, a distinguished member of The APX Group.

Dr. Andre Singer, OBE

Content Advisor

Andre was Editor of the illustrious Disappearing World strand and founded BBC Fine Cut (now Storyville). He has made hundreds of hours of factual programmes including 15 films with Werner Herzog. Andre directed the Emmy winning "Night Will Fall" and co-directed "Meeting Gorbachev" alongside Herzog. He is also a Professorial Research Associate at London University, SOAS.

Andre is the Founder of and a senior partner in Spring Films LTD, a distinguished member of The APX Group.

Sunny Vohra

APX Board Member

Sunny Vohra is an entrepreneur, whose family has interests in a portfolio of commercial businesses and high end, private properties and hotels in London and across the UK and abroad. His longstanding passion for film led him to buy Twickenham Film Studios back in 2012, saving the heritage studios from closure, and ensured the growth of the team and operations as he came on board to head up the business. As Chairman of Twickenham Film Studios he is committed to the new era and redevelopment works across the new look TFS brand and campus - ensuring the studios continues to evolve its talent, and offering across studios, picture, sound, workspace and social.

Sunny is a major shareholder in APX and an active board member. Sunny also coordinates the branding strategy of APX in its global expansion steps.

Bailey MB

Special Consultant - Film Packaging

From Atlanta, GA, a two time Georgia State Certified Mediator by the State Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution, with a specialty in Hostage Negotiation by Harvard Lawyer, Bob Berlin. Bailey has extensive previous experiences such as, an IRS Enrolled Agent, Global Compliance Fraud Specialist, and Founder of Lifeline Ministries Rehab for Women.

She jumped on board when the film industry began its move to Atlanta with first experiences Red Road with Jason Momoa, RideAlong2, and various commercials and features. Bailey is fueled by a desire to continue full time work in the industry and develop film projects with producing partnerships. Bailey encompass depth of knowledge of the film industry, and high profile connections.

Andrew Richard Nicholson

Head of Iberian Peninsula Division

Andrew is a qualified Accountant who has worked in private practice. For the last 15 years I have worked with a number of film production companies, film studio operating companies, film producers and Directors. I prepare annual accounts and taxation computations as required and have helped to raise finance for film production and film studio operations.

Andrew has a tremendous working knowledge of all aspects of film finance and taxation and currently working on a number of projects within the film and tv industry in general and APX Group in particular.

Andrew oversees the Five-Years plan to turn APX’s Iberian Peninsula Division into the largest physical and service park studios in Europe.

Mike Amoia

Head of Global Music Business

Emmy Award Recipient Michael “Mike” Amoia is a producer, entrepreneur and investor. He was the co-founder of Vidiots / Switchblade Entertainment Group and currently owns MIBE Music.

Mike Amoia started out as a music producer at the age of 22.

In 2003 Amoia launched Vidiots a 20,000 square foot post production facility in New York's West Village, housing an agency representing editors and directors. Vidiots then expanded into a production company in 2010 which eventually was renamed to Switchblade Entertainment Group.

In 2015, Amoia co-founded MIBE Music, a publishing company with over 100,000 music cues and songwriters worldwide. MIBE credits include Beyoncé Pepsi commercial, CBS sports, Bravo's Million Dollar Listing, History Channel's Counting Cars, and the NBA Finals opener for ESPN. In 2019 Mike sold his equity of Vidiots / Switchblade to run MIBE Music full time. 

Amoia coordinates APX’s music business strategy applied into films and TV projects.
